Sparkling moments to look forward to in the Emmental: The Kambly Christmas market will take place on the first two weekends of Advent, from 29 November to 1 December and 6 to 8 December 2024 in Trubschachen. The 30 brightly decorated chalets create all the atmosphere of a Christmas village around the Kambly Experience.

The range of regional culinary specialities and quality handmade crafts will delight visitors to the Christmas market.

Gastronomy

A varied selection of regional culinary delicacies awaits you at the Christmas market. Whether it's savoury Emmental raclette, juicy sausages or a warming mulled wine - there's something for every taste. The food and drinks are served in chalets and food trucks, so you can choose your own favourites. You will find cosy seating in the heated tent to enjoy your meal in a pleasant atmosphere.

Punch and Judy show in the Christmas tent (Demonstration in German)

• Friday, 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
• Saturday, 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
• Sunday, 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Decorate gingerbread or a biscuit tin with the Kambly Maîtres Confiseurs in the Christmas tent

• Friday to Sunday during the opening hours of the Christmas market
• A fee of CHF 6.00 per gingerbread is applied, with CHF 2.00 going to a non-profit organisation
• A fee of CHF 8.00 per biscuit tin is applied

No pre-registration is necessary for the activities in the Christmas tent. The Christmas tent is heated.

Candle making in the winter forest

Due to health reasons, the candle making will be shortened.

• A fee of CHF 3.30/100g is applied

Lantern Trail

The Kambly Lantern Trail invites visitors to the Christmas market to enjoy a peaceful, festive stroll through the winter landscape. Just a few steps away from the Kambly Christmas Market, a host of Christmas lanterns light the way along the River Ilfis, where the rippling water and twinkling starry sky will soon help visitors leave their everyday worries behind them. Beside the river, guests young and old can warm themselves by the open fire and enjoy the cosy, festive atmosphere with a hot tea – a treat for the body and soul.

If you like, you can buy a sausage directly at the campfire and grill it in the middle of the winter landscape.

The Kambly Christmas Market is held around the Kambly Experience. The Kambly Experience is open every morning from 9.00 am. The evening opening times will be extended in line with the Christmas market.
